Waxham

Waxham

Waxham Beach is four miles from the campsite and is one of the few beaches that not many people know about, unless you are a local or a regular visitor. Perfectly hidden away among trees and sand dunes, and with no regular car park and no amenities close to the beach, it is perfect for those who prefer a bit of peace and quiet. On a beautiful sunny day, you can walk along the sandy path, shaded by the trees, and out onto the glorious soft sand.

It actually sits in a designated area of outstanding natural beauty, and if you walk onto the dunes above the beach, you can understand why.

There are a whole host of activities and beaches to visit near Waxham too: Happisburgh Lighthouse, Winterton Dunes, Seals at Horsey, Horsey Windpump and the circular walk to name a few. Let us know when you fancy going and we will explain how do get there! Shhhh!
