Please do note that Hickling Campsite is situated next to adjoining farming fields and we do not have control over when the fields are harvested. Welcome to the countryside folks!

Is there electric hook-up?
No

Is there any electricity onsite?
There are a few plug sockets onsite available for mobile phone charging, blowing up airbeds, hair dryers and whatever your heart desires.

Is there a fridge onsite?
No, there is a freezer for ice blocks.

Are there set pitches?
No, we do not have set pitches, you pitch up where you like on the camping field. If you are a big group there is plenty of space for you to all camp together.

Are caravans, motorhomes and campervans allowed onsite?
No, we are a tent and trailer tent only campsite.

Are trailer tents allowed?
Yes

What time do we have to check in or out?
Anytime, the gates are always open, we do not have specific check in or check out times. Unless you are booked into a Shepherdโ€™s Hut or The Pod, then check in is at 1pm and check out is 11am.

Is wood available to purchase onsite?
Yes, it is an honesty box system and wood is ยฃ5 per bag.

Is there a supermarket nearby?
Yes, there is a 24 hour Tesco situated on the Stalham Road a few miles up from the campsite and a bit further along a lovely farm shop called A G Meale & Sons, and Causeway Farm Butchers, aย superb traditional butchers shop selling home produced and locally sourced meats.

Do you accept Gazebos?
Yes, no extra charge
